How Weight Loss Works

I'm going to answer the question how weight loss works in this article because if you want to lose few pounds but don't have at least a basic understanding about the process then as you progress with your goal, it can help you to hold on in times such as when you're so desperate for "results" but it seems almost impossible to achieve for instance. So let's have a look at how your body lose fat process in a more biological point of view (but in a sense anyone can understand it).

The Basics

Most of our bodies are made out of water. In a newborn the amounts are as high as 75% but as we age the water levels go down and in adults it is around 60% - 55%. And others (which is our primarily concerns) such as fat and muscles are also among the most widely known to everyone. Anyway both fat and muscles can be thought as fuel for your body which is burned while we work. So the more work you do more fat and calories we burn.

What is Calorie

Calorie is the standard method of measuring energy which is bind with heat ( this was first defined by Nicolas ClĂ©ment in 1824). Some get confused by fat and calories but in fact fat is actually another foam of energy thus since energy is defined as calories (not the only method but only basic idea) so the fat is a foam of energy/calorie.

So How Can I lose Weight

Well now you get the idea and what you have to do in order to achieve this goal but let me brief you with some basics, again. First let me explain how your body stores energy thus resulting weight gain. Now when we eat food (high calories, fat, cholesterol, etc) the body digest it and store it in many forms. One as fat, secondly as muscles. But all you do all day long is keep eating food but no exercises then the stored energies have nowhere else to go and as the time goes on if you keep eating more than enough little by little you'll gain more fat thus making you over weight person.

So there are few things you can do.

1. Eat foods healthy food (with required amounts of calories and fat of course).

By eating these types of foods can really help you to control sugar levels for instance which can reduce the possibility of diabetic and other related illnesses. Read more about weight loss foods from here.

2. Do your Exercises.

This is a must especially if you intake higher amounts of protein and don't do any workouts, since it is proven by researchers that people with a history of kidney related issues can have some bad side effects with the added protein and can do some damages to your kidneys. But for those of you who don't have any kidney related problems this does not seems to concern. But never avoid your exercises which is among one of the best and safe ways of losing weight.

3. Try some of the good meal replacement shakes.

But remember even though there are really natural substances included products, but if you're a teenager (age below 18) these products are not recommended. And always keep away from diet soda products.

4. Try some of the whey protein for gaining lean muscles.

Whey protein is one of the best "purified" protein types of all and which includes very little amounts of sugar and cholesterol (also fat, etc). But since this is made out of cow milk if you have allergies then pay extra attention (if you're buying a product of course) and look for some of the especial products that have the ability to avoid these allergies.

So anyway, these are among few ways that you can put together a good answer for the how weight loss works, popular question and please remember before doing anything there are few of the things that you should be aware of (BMI, daily calorie needs, etc) so please go and ask you doctor first which is a must.
